East Brisbane Queenslander
This iconic Queenslander style home began it’s transition looking tired and aged having housed families for over 40 years in East Brisbane. The brief from its new owners was to keep the classic look and feel of a Queenslander, but with a modern twist and to keep and revive as much original material as possible.
Starting with the front entry, we were able to restore the staircase and re-paint it to look as good as brand new and then add a new gated entry to finalise the entry to the house.
The interior was given the works, timber floors were stripped and restored to new, the main bedroom ensuite, second bathroom and laundry were completely re tiled and refitted. Finally the original kitchen was gutted to make way for a brand new kitchen with our client’s dream appliances including a huge six-burner stovetop and oven with tiled splashback.
The ACM team then turned their attention to the back patio and pool with brand new decking built around the pool and expansive BBQ and entertainment area.
This Queenslander is now looking brand new and better than ever, whilst still retaining the classic charm of Queenslander design and extensive timberwork.
