By contracting ACM Constructions from the very start these happy homeowners guaranteed themselves a stunning new home that met all of their needs and wants.
Throughout the planning phase with ACM Constructions, the homeowners decided that they wanted to maintain some of the Queenslander’s original charm and aesthetic. To do this, ACM Constructions retained the old mixed species hardwood floors as well as the traditional cornices. They carried these throughout the new extension, highlighting the other modern design elements. Additionally, the high ceilings, tall louvre windows, and bifold doors mean that this family home is primed to capitalise on Mt Gravatt’s breezes.
The home uses smart storage solutions and clean neutral colours to further foster the existing sense of space. The use of heritage style doors with black hardware also helped to keep the theme of the home consistent.
This project involved adding an additional bathroom and ensuite. These finished rooms are both functional and stylish. ACM Constructions have planned many stunning bathrooms over the years and drew upon this considerable experience to help the homeowners create something impeccable.
Just as important as the home itself, ACM Constructions also worked with the family to coordinate construction so as to reduce their time away from their home as much as possible. This meant less additional cost in terms of rental properties and less personal upheaval.
